Here’s the first finished track from the forthcoming album. I still have a long way to go though! Enjoy.
Ok here’s a new song called, “Push/Pull”. It’s been kicking around a while and wasn’t really finished enough to be on the last EP. It doesn’t really fit with what I’m doing with the new album I’m recording (which will probably be instrumental & more electronic) so it’s a bit of an orphan. I may stick it on the next album or save it for something else. Anyway, let me know what you think!

It’s bloody cold outside so I might as well do some recording! Work starts tonight on album number 6 (!!!) and I’m going to try a different approach this time. I’ll let you know how it goes at some point. Wish me luck, hopefully you should hear some new Mister Fusty music sometime this year…

I’ll be posting regular updates there on how progress is going (or not) and you might hear some nice things. This time the plan is to do something a bit different, probably instrumental and my keywords are “dark” & “funky”. However this this could change and I could end up doing the same rubbish I normally do, or a steel band pastiche. Who knows?

“Say Goodbye Sunrise EP”
I’ve decided to bundle the last couple of singles, “Sunrise (It’s a Good Start)” and “Say Goodbye” (and their ‘b-sides’) into an EP with a new track “Holly Would”. The reason being that by the time I’ve finished the next album they’ll be old songs and most likely won’t fit, musically anyway, on it. I’ve decided to push the envelope a bit on the next bunch of recordings, trying something a little different (I’m not sure what yet!), and it’s likely that there’s going to be a long gap before the next Mister Fusty release. Also making an EP of these tracks gives a chance for them to appear on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc.
The new song has been kicking around for a few months, it started out as quite a slow, boring acoustic track. So I decided to speed the recorded guitar up and looped extracted bits of it and turned it into something completely different.

“Say Goodbye” Single out today.
Here’s the new digital single, “Say Goodbye”, you can download it at Bandcamp along with it’s b-side, “Space Birds”.
This is will be the last Mister Fusty release this year, I’ve started work on a new bunch of tracks which will form an album and will be out sometime next year, in spring perhaps? (He says optimistically).
“Say Goodbye” and previous single “Sunrise (It’s a Good Start)” will be on the album but the ‘b-sides’ won’t be, you can get them individually at Bandcamp if you like.
I hope you like, “Say Goodbye”, I spent a long time tweaking and honing this one and I’m quite proud of it.
